Our Commitment To Privacy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy")  has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their Non-Personal and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is being used online. PII, as used in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how CTEManager ("we," or "us") collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your information in accordance with our website.

Additionally, non-personal information collected may include information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks.

How We Use The Data
We may use the information we collect from you in the following ways:
  • To personalize user’s experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
  • To deliver services or execute transactions you request, such as answering customer service requests, facilitating use of our website, and so forth.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Commitment to Data Security
How is visitor information protected?
We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use. If you use this site, you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity.

We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your personal information. For example, certain technological security measures implemented include encryption, firewalls and secure socket layer (SSL) technology. Additionally, all transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

How do we handle collecting children's information?
Our privacy practices are guided by the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), as well as data privacy laws in the United States. CTEManager contracts with school districts to offer online programs solely for the benefit of their students and for the school system. In this case, the schools may act as the parent’s agent and can consent to the collection of kids’ information on the parent’s behalf. As a best practice, the school and/or shool district should consider providing parents with a notice of the websites and online services whose collection it has consented to on behalf of the parent.
